It was one more good ,tough efficient tractor We ran it to death. I cant remember how many hours we put on it before the transmission gears were shot Especially the bowl pinion and bowl gears. We finally traded it in on a 574 international. Which was rated at about ten more horse power but the old 504 handled the implements better in her day. Would love to have a low hour one to restore some day. It would have to be a diesel. Ive got a really nice Super C and I installed a C-153 in it during the restoration It gas won't pull with the diesel.
